Bio.
For over 18 years, Sabrina Dridje has worked across America and Europe launching and growing creative businesses, communities, programs and partnerships. Clients include media and production companies, cultural events, agencies, governments and cultural institutions - most recently Airbnb, Brighton Art Book Fair, We Are Parable and Remix Summits.
Prior to this she held various leadership positions at New York based Recognition Media who recognize the best creative and digital work in the world across their various awards programs (Webby Awards, Signal Awards, Lovie Awards). During her tenure as Executive Director of The Telly Awards, she led a total rebrand of the 40 year video and television award by overhauling the strategy across partnerships, editorial and programming. She was then appointed Head of New Programs for the company, a new role focussed on identifying and launching new award programs across the creative industries, most recently launching the Collision Awards for animation + motion design. Central to this work was working with multiple stakeholders; from Board members to partners (Epic Games, WePresent, SXSW) to jurors (Disney, BUCK, Nickelodeon, Aardman, Fortune Media, BBC) and beyond.
Prior to her roles at Recognition Media, Sabrina was appointed Director of New York City’s media + technology + story incubator and lab - the Made in NY Media Center. A joint project of the Independent Filmmaker Project (now Gotham Institute) and New York’s Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Dridje was part of the Media Center’s launch team and was instrumental to the growth of the community of startups, programs and partnerships (Hearst, Vimeo, Verizon) that supported it.
Sabrina started her career in London as part of the business affairs team at leading film sales company, Hanway Films and subsequently as a freelance executive creative producer across the creative industries. She is a French/Algerian/British mixtape and currently lives in Brighton with her husband and daughter and supports clients on every time zone.
